How can we help?
Simple steps for the things you'll do most.
Update
NetSA Shield checks for new threat definitions and app updates automatically. Updates are only installed after their signature is verified. To check now, open the app and choose Check for updates. If an update fails, the app keeps the last working version and tells you why.
Scan
Choose Quick scan for the usual hiding places, Full scan for the whole computer, or right-click a file or folder and choose Scan with NetSA Shield. You can pause or cancel at any time. Files that can't be read (for example, locked or encrypted) are listed with the reason.
Restore a file
Open Quarantine, pick the item and choose Restore. You'll see a warning first, because restoring a real threat puts it back on your computer. Only restore files you're sure are safe.
Uninstall
On Windows use Settings → Apps; on Mac use the uninstaller in the NetSA Shield folder. Before removing anything, we'll tell you what happens to quarantined items. Your computer's built-in security stays switched on.
Still stuck?
Export diagnostic logs from Settings → Diagnostics (personal details are removed) and send them through our contact page.
