The contents of your files. Scanning happens on your computer, and no file is uploaded without your clear permission.

No account is needed: scanning, quarantine and updates work without one, and definitions download anonymously. Your scan history and quarantine stay on your computer. Diagnostic sharing is switched on by default to help us fix problems; the app explains exactly what it sends, and you can switch it off at any time in Settings. If you choose to sign in, scan results are also copied to your online dashboard.

You can delete your scam-check history or ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact page.
